316Ti stainless steel pipes, also known as UNS S31635, find applications in various industries due to their unique properties. Let’s explore where they are commonly used:
Chemical Processing:
316Ti pipes are widely employed in chemical plants for conveying corrosive chemicals, acids, and alkalis.
Their resistance to corrosion ensures safe material transfer.
Food and Beverage Industry:
In food processing and beverage production, 316Ti stainless steel pipes are essential.
They maintain hygiene, resist corrosion, and handle food-grade fluids.
Petrochemical and Oil & Gas:
Petrochemical facilities use 316Ti pipes for process lines, heat exchangers, and other equipment.
Their durability and resistance to aggressive media are advantageous.
Pharmaceutical Manufacturing:
316Ti pipes are suitable for pharmaceutical fluid transfer, storage, and cleanroom applications.
Their hygienic properties meet stringent industry standards.
Pulp and Paper Production:
In paper mills, 316Ti stainless steel pipes are used for conveying pulp, chemicals, and water.
They withstand the harsh environment of paper processing.
Coastal and Marine Environments:
Due to their corrosion resistance, 316Ti pipes are ideal for coastal structures, shipbuilding, and marine equipment.
They handle chloride-rich environments effectively.
Remember that 316Ti stainless steel combines strength, corrosion resistance, and versatility, making it valuable across diverse sectors!

TP316Ti /1.4571/UNSS31635, is a titanium-stabilized, molybdenum-alloyed austenitic chromium-nickel steel with improved machinability has similar characteristics to AISI 316L, but the TP 316Ti has better mechanical properties and strength at high temperatures. TP 316Ti (1.4571, UNS S31635) due to the addition of titanium shows higher corrosion resistance.
TP 316Ti (1.4571, UNS S31635) is generally considered but is not resistant to hot sea water. Hot chloride environments may cause pitting and crevice corrosion. TP 316Ti (1.4571, UNS S31635) HEAT RESISTANCE 316 exhibits good resistance to oxidation in continuous service to a temperature of 870 ° C and a temperature of 925 ° C. However, if corrosion resistance to water is required, continuous use at 425-860 ° C is not recommended. In this case, 316L is recommended due to resistance to carbide precipitation. When high temperatures are required at temperatures above 500 ° C, class 316H is recommended.
